Due to the safety issues associated with having a parade of moving vehicles, the streets that cross Church Street must be closed for the duration of the event. Closings on February 27, 2010 include these street sections:

At Noon:

King St. between S. Winooski & Church

At 2pm:

S. Winooski Ave. between Maple & Main St.

King St. between Church & Union

At 2:30pm:

King St. between St. Paul & Union

Church St. between Maple & Pearl

Main St. between Union & Pine St. (cars may go east on Main towards Union)

College St. between S. Winooski & St. Paul

Bank St. between S. Winooski & St. Paul

Cherry St. between S. Winooski & Battery

Pine St. between Cherry & Pearl

St. Paul St. between Cherry & Pearl

The parade begins at 3pm and lasts for about one (1) hour. Streets will then reopen to traffic.
